Linda Hannon has lived in DeLand since 2006 where she works full time as a Realtor® with Charles Rutenberg Realty. She has a passion for helping her customers achieve their goals and is honored to be in an industry that is not only exciting but is a vital part of our economy. With only five years experience in the field, she was awarded Realtor® of the Year by the West Volusia Association of Realtors. She firmly believes in continuing to educate herself and received her Brokers Associate License in 2017. Her business partner Terry Bailey has volunteered with the Childhood Cancer Foundation since its inception and invited Linda to join.

Linda’s hails from Trenton, NJ and Levittown, PA where she raised her two wonderful sons. After they finished college and began their journeys in Chicago Illinois & Burlington Vermont, she moved closer to her family here in Central Florida. “Cancer has touched my family in countless ways. My husband, sister, parents and many extended family members have lived and persevered through treatment yet died due to Cancer. Thankfully it never struck my children or any other child in my immediate family. As a parent, I can’t imagine anything worse than having your child face a cancer diagnosis. The value that the Childhood Cancer Foundation brings to our children, families, and community is priceless, and I am thankful to play a role”.

“No one is more cherished in this world than someone who lightens the burden of another.” – Author Unknown

Learn more...
Cindy joined the CCF team in 2016 as the family liaison however she has been in this field for over 14 years. Growing up in Orlando Florida she made a move to Volusia County 13 years ago with her family husband, Dan; daughter, Amanda; and son, Danny. Danny is the reason they made the move, he was diagnosed in 2004 with stage 4 Medulloblastoma, brain cancer.

Having a child with cancer herself, Cindy has walked this journey and understands the needs of our families which makes for a perfect fit for our organization. Having this experience is invaluable when meeting, helping and navigating the families who are embarking on this journey. Cindy is in the hospitals daily taking care of our families; bringing meals, delivering gas in grocery cards, giving them rides to and from their appointments and sometimes just holding their hands.
